Legendary Finn McCool

lThe legendary Finn McCool (Fionn Mac Cumhaill) is most closely associated with The Giant's Causeway (Clochán an Aifir) a promontory of basalt columns on the Antrim Plateau. Legend has it that McCool constructed the causeway in order to cross the Northern Channel and fight "The Red Man", a Scottish giant called Benandonner. But the island holds slews of locations purportedly tied to Ireland's legendary giant - including Finn McCool's Fingers (County Cavan) and Finn McCool's Grave (County Leitrim). Yes, yes... we know...some experts say the giant's final resting place is between Tara and Skryne in County Meath. But we're still going to give this one to Lovely Leitrim!!! Have a gander yourself!
