As a historian and author, Paddy launched The Celtic Historian in 2019 to permanently house his work - lengthy stand-alone pieces and those shared via our social media pages. He also supports non-profits, which are consistent with his background and complement his historical writing and research::
County Leitrim Society of New York
Paddy is Vice President of The Co. Leitrim Society of New York, a charitable and social organisation supporting emigrants of the county and their descendants residing in the U.S.A. The society also supports deserving individuals, families, friends and organisations back home including all of Leitrim's GAA teams.
Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum of Fairfield
Since 2022, Paddy has volunteered for Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum of Fairfield (IGHMF), located in Connecticut, which maintains the largest collection of Great Hunger related art in the world. He is curently a member of the museum’s Board of Directors, serving as Board Secretary.
